Worthing Food & Drink Festival 2026: Everything You Need to Know
Worthing Food & Drink Festival is back for 2026, bringing a wide selection of food, drink, desserts and independent traders to Steyne Gardens for a weekend in September.
This year's festival takes place on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 September, with plenty to discover across the two days, from Thai food and pizza to burgers, dumplings, cakes, cocktails, coffee and locally produced sauces.
Whether you already know exactly what you want to try or prefer to wander around and see what catches your eye, here is everything you need to know before visiting.

New for 2026: Mini Bounceworld
New for 2026, we’re delighted to be partnering with Dave Hunt’s Bounceworld to bring a mini Bounceworld to the Worthing Food & Drink Festival. It’s one of several new additions planned for this year’s event, with more still to be announced.
Where is Steyne Gardens?
Steyne Gardens is close to Worthing town centre and the seafront.
Worthing Pier, the promenade and the town centre are all nearby, so visitors coming from outside Worthing can easily include the festival as part of a longer day in town.
If the weather is good, you can also head towards the seafront before or after visiting the festival.

If you are travelling by car, it is worth deciding where you plan to park before setting off, particularly if you are unfamiliar with Worthing.
Travelling by train
Worthing railway station is also shown on the festival's visitor map and is within walking distance of Steyne Gardens.
From the station, you can walk through Worthing town centre towards the festival site.
For anyone planning to have a beer, wine, cocktail, gin or rum during their visit, travelling by train may also be worth considering.
Make a little more of your day in Worthing
If you are travelling into Worthing specifically for the festival, there is plenty nearby to add to your visit.
Worthing Pier and the seafront are only a short distance from Steyne Gardens, while the town centre is close by too.
You could have lunch at the festival, walk down towards the sea afterwards and then return later for something sweet or another look around the stalls.
Alternatively, spend some time browsing Worthing town centre before heading into the festival.
Tips for visiting
With so many traders taking part, a little planning can help you get more from your visit.
Have a walk around before choosing what to eat. It is much easier to decide once you have seen what is available.
Come hungry. There are enough different food and dessert options to make choosing just one difficult.
If you are visiting with other people, consider choosing dishes from different traders and sharing them.
Leave room for dessert. There is a sizeable sweet and dessert line-up this year.
Look beyond the ready-to-eat food. The condiment and other exhibitor stalls are worth exploring too.
If you are driving, check the parking options and walking times before travelling.
Allow some extra time if you want to visit the seafront, pier or town centre while you are in Worthing.
